Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to cover Crawley and surrounding areas. The role offers £36,000–£38,000 basic pay plus door-to-door pay, overtime (£45,000 OTE), and a company van.

This is a long-term position with excellent progression and a strong safety culture. You will work on field-based service, maintenance and audits of industrial assets such as separators, tanks and pumps.

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background with pumps, wastewater or separators.

Responsibilities

• Field-based service, maintenance and audits of industrial assets (separators, tanks, pumps, etc.).
• Hands-on site work including inspecting manholes, control panels, filters, and probes.
• Electrical continuity testing, stripping out/installing control panels.
• Working within confined spaces and producing integrity reports.
• Complying with safety, regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
• Promoting safe practices and high standards across all customer sites.

Your Role As A Field Service Engineer Will Include:

• Field-based service, maintenance and audits of industrial assets (separators, tanks, pumps, etc.)
• Hands-on site work including inspecting manholes, control panels, filters, and probes

As A Field Service Engineer You Will Have:

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background (wastewater, utilities, ex-military welcome)
• Hands-on problem-solving approach with a strong work ethic
• Previous experience with pumping stations, separators, or water systems
• Full driving license and willingness to travel regionally
• IT skills and the ability to use tablets/software on-site
