Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Coventry is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to service and resolve issues on a range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. You will travel to customer sites, perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance and on-site repairs to ensure peak equipment performance.

We offer a competitive salary, a choice of 40 or 45 hour weeks, 25 days leave plus holidays, pension, training and development, and a supportive team environment with tools, laptop, and vehicle

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, forklift technician or plant technician.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using IT equipment and keeping records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups on fleet.
• Travel to various customer locations to service forklifts and related equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer support and build strong relationships.
