Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base around the South West. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced field engineer interested in a new role.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a client based around Wiltshire
• Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
• Fixing other equipment including plant hire
• Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment
• Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call

Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles or other related sectors. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer-facing skills. Ultimately, the company is looking for an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere around the Wiltshire area.
