Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment, looking to onboard a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base across the Essex and East London postcode areas. This role offers a competitive basic salary and other benefits, making it a great opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking to join a reputable company.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a client base across Essex & East London, with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
• Fixing and servicing other related material handling & specialist equipment, including side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
• Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company professionally during customer site visits
• Attending the workshop occasionally and working on call from time to time

Requirements

The company prefers candidates with experience in the Material Handling industry. However, they are also interested in candidates with backgrounds in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles, or automotive. Recently qualified engineers seeking a long-term career are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be based within the Essex or East London area.
