Job summary

VINCI Energies is seeking an on-site EV charging technician to install, service and maintain AC and DC charge points across commercial and public sites. You will diagnose faults, perform safety checks and complete digital service reports ensuring compliance and safety on each site.

You will build strong relationships with customers, handle emergency callouts when required, and participate in ongoing training including EV charger manufacturer certification. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical maintenance and testing experience.
• EV charger experience beneficial – training will be provided.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• High levels of accountability, initiative and ability to work without supervision.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, servicing and repairing AC & DC EV charge points.
• Diagnosing electrical and technical faults.
• Completing accurate digital service reports.
• Conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and compliance tests.
• Following wiring regulations and safety procedures.
• Building strong customer relationships on-site.
• Supporting emergency callouts as required (extra pay).

Job description

You'll play a key role in the installation, servicing and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure across commercial and public sites. This practical, customer facing position ensures EV charge points remain safe, compliant and fully operational - helping keep the UK charging network running smoothly.,
