Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Training into Controls) to service automated packaging machinery across the UK. The role offers OEM PLC training and a clear path to becoming a Controls Engineer while earning through premium overtime and a company car or allowance.

You will cover UK regions from Birmingham area and beyond, with days-based working and occasional stayaways. A strong electro-mechanical background and willingness to travel are essential for progression

Field-Based, UK wide role, Commutable from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Rotherham and surrounding areas

The role:

• Electro-Mechanical servicing and maintenance on a variety of different automated packaging machinery
• PLC Fault finding using Siemens S7
• Days-based, Monday - Friday, with occasional stayaways each week.

The Person:

• Electrical and Mechanical experience on Production Lines or Plant Machinery
• Understanding of PLC's and Wants training on Programming Siemens PLC
• Flexible to travel UK wide & stay away when required
