Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Training into Controls) to service and maintain automated packaging equipment across the UK. You will gain Siemens PLC programming training and work with a leading FMCG manufacturer.

You will earn £45,000–£50,000 (OTE £60,000–£70,000) with premium overtime, a company car or £6,000 car allowance, door-to-door pay, 34 days holiday, pension, and stay-away allowances.

Qualifications

• Electro-Mechanical experience on production lines or plant machinery.
• Understanding of PLCs with a desire to train on Siemens PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Electro-Mechanical servicing and maintenance on automated packaging machinery.
• PLC fault finding using Siemens S7.
• Travel across the UK with regular stay-aways when required.

Field-Based, UK wide role, Commutable from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Rotherham and surrounding areas

The role:

• Electro-Mechanical servicing and maintenance on a variety of different automated packaging machinery


• PLC Fault finding using Siemens S7


• Days-based, Monday - Friday, with occasional stayaways each week.

The Person:

• Electrical and Mechanical experience on Production Lines or Plant Machinery


• Understanding of PLC's and Wants training on Programming Siemens PLC


• Flexible to travel UK wide & stay away when required
