Our client, a highly respected name known for their commitment to quality and service, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to cover the vital M4 corridor, from Swansea to London.

This is a pivotal role, ensuring dental practices in the region benefit from the highest standards of equipment maintenance and compliance.

In this dynamic role, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing comprehensive on-site service, maintenance, and repair of dental equipment, including autoclaves, decontamination units, compressors, and chairs.
  2. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption for clients.
  3. Carrying out routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
  4. Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  5. Providing excellent customer service and building strong working relationships with dental practice staff.
  6. Completing accurate and timely service reports.
  7. Managing your own workload and schedule effectively to meet client needs across the designated territory.
  8. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and equipment technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Proven experience as a field service engineer, ideally within the dental or medical equipment sector, with specific knowledge of autoclaves and decontamination processes.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential as the role involves significant travel across the M4 corridor.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) would be highly advantageous.
