Job summary

McCaskie Ltd is seeking an Agricultural Engineer to install, service and repair dairy and livestock equipment on farms across the Central Belt and beyond. You’ll work on milking parlours, milk cooling tanks and ventilation, building trusted relationships with farmers across Stirling, Falkirk, Perth, Fife and Lanarkshire.

Qualifications

• A mechanical, electrical or agricultural engineering background.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A practical, self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working independently out on farm.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair dairy and livestock equipment on farm.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and put them right.
• Carry out planned maintenance and respond to call-outs.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers across your patch.
