Job summary

AVK-SEG Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to strengthen our Southern Region team, covering maintenance and repair of diesel generators across UK sites. You will be the face of our brand, liaising with customers and sub-contractors, and supporting a busy service division with on-site visits.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with diesel generators from major manufacturers, are flexible for UK-wide site attendance, and comfortable with an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Have experience and knowledge in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators.
• Knowledge of diesel generator brands: SDMO, FGW, CAT, Cummins, MTU, Mitsubishi, Volvo, John Deere, Perkins, Doosan, and Scania.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Be flexible with regards to attending sites throughout the UK and be willing to be part of an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Support the Southern Region service division and customers in a busy environment.
• Liaise with customers and sub-contractors to meet deadlines.
• Attend sites across the UK for maintenance and repair work.
• Be the face of the AVK-SEG brand, ensuring customer satisfaction.
