Job Description:

Our service department covers the entire UK, including Northern and Southern Ireland, providing full technical support through UK and German contacts.

We have opportunities available across the North, Midlands, and South to join our busy service team.

Tasks
  • Fault finding and diagnosis
  • Reactive breakdowns
  • Planned maintenance and routine servicing
  • Unplanned maintenance
  • Installation and commissioning
  • Operator training and handover
  • Administration and reporting
Requirements
  • Mobile/field-based position
  • Home-based role
  • Flexible approach to overtime and overnight stays when required
  • Multi-skilled, with electrical bias preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronics, PLCs (Seimens S5/S7), mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • High-level technical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND) or demonstrable competency such as an apprenticeship
  • IT literacy
  • Professionalism and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well within a team of service engineers
  • Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and quality

Salary and benefits include:

  • Starting salary circa £30K based on a 40-hour week
  • Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
  • Performance-related pay
  • No out-of-hours or weekend work unless exceptional and pre-arranged
  • Daily travel expenses
  • Company van with private use permitted (fuel and mileage records required)
  • Company credit card
  • Pension scheme contributing 6% of basic pay after 3 months
  • Holiday entitlement: 23/24 days
