You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer training on our Biomolecular Solutions such as Automation, Genomics and Cell Analysis - this portfolio includes: RTCA, imaging, microscopy, microplate readers, flow cytometry, NGS, PCR, gel electrophoresis, spectroscopy...

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities
  • Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule services efficiently
  • Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
  • Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures
  • Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately
  • Provide feedback to the Product Specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies encountered - use the complaint handling system as required
  • Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service

For this role, you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in North West England and the Midlands (a company car will be available to you).

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:

  • University degree in a Life Sciences related field (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.)
  • Significant laboratory/hands-on experience with automation, genomics and/or cell analysis solutions (RTCA, imaging, microscopy, microplate readers, flow cytometry, NGS, PCR, gel electrophoresis, spectroscopy...)
  • Full proficiency in English
  • A valid driving license

On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team, to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
