Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Door, Gate, Barrier & Shutter Installer to join our growing team on commercial sites across Kent and the South London area. You will install, service, maintain and repair automatic doors, roller shutters, gates and access control systems, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

The role requires fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to work independently while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with automatic/industrial doors, roller shutters, gates, barriers.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good understanding of automation systems and control equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, and install automatic doors, industrial doors, roller shutters, gates, barriers, and associated automation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Complete all work in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Produce accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Liaise professionally with customers, site managers, and office staff.
