About the Client:

Interaction Technical has partnered with a leading manufacturer of agricultural engineering equipment to expand their engineering team. We are seeking skilled plant and agricultural field service engineers to maintain, repair, and service various agricultural machinery.

The Package

• 32 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 37.5 hours midweek, 2x on Sundays and bank holidays
• Average of 15-20 hours overtime weekly, with additional earnings
• Additional annual earnings based on overtime (e.g., £5,850 for 5 hours/week, £17,550 for 15 hours/week)
• Holiday overtime pay (e.g., £1,500 last year)

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, perform servicing, and emergency repairs on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, etc.)
• Travel to customer sites for maintenance and repairs
• Perform diagnostics on mechanical and electrical faults
• Work independently and collaborate with colleagues, ensuring proper documentation
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and perform fault finding and repairs
• Liaise with clients to diagnose issues and provide solutions

Requirements

• Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
• Experience in the agricultural industry (essential)
• Fault finding, repair, and servicing experience (advantageous)
• Experience with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) are advantageous
• Full UK driver's license
