Position: Aerospace / Aviation Field Service Engineer

Location: North/West Greater London, with travel across Europe and Asia

A world leader in the Aerospace sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work on complex bespoke systems. The company is renowned for excellence in engineering within the aerospace industry. This role involves initial travel around Greater London and the South East, with potential extensive travel abroad. Responsibilities:

• Visit customer facilities for trial installations, including seats, inter-seat systems, and canopy systems, providing feedback.
• Perform installations, retrofits, modifications, and maintenance of products at customer sites.
• Convert seats per specifications, participate in installation teams, and specify changes for bespoke installations.
• Train end-users on installation, preparation, and main activities, certifying them to standards.

Requirements:

• HNC/BTECH/NVQ qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong aircraft maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Defence industries.
• Knowledge of product maintenance techniques.
• Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• IT literacy.
