Are you interested in training to become a specialist Service Technician, working on our advanced cranes?

We are Palfinger UK. We’re the exclusive UK distributor for Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Timber & Recycling Cranes.

This is a great opportunity to join our prestigious aftersales division, where you'll be servicing and repairing some of the world’s most advanced and innovative lifting machines.

Hours

Our engineers work 40 hours a week, between our operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday – Friday.

Additional overtime is available should you want to earn more.

Key Duties Will Include

It’s a highly professional environment. We’ll provide you with all the necessary formal manufacturer training, ensuring that you have the specialist technical knowledge necessary to keep our machines performing at their best.

There's Lots Of Variety - You'll Be Providing On-site Support For Our Palfinger Lorry Loaders Across The Region. Daily Tasks Include:

  • Regular crane servicing.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on customer sites.
  • Performing thorough examinations / LOLER inspections and necessary compliance checks to ensure adherence with industry regulations.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers.
The Ideal Applicant

  • Interested applicants need to possess demonstrable experience of maintaining and repairing similar hydraulic/electrical lifting machines - ideally within Forestry/Timber, Agriculture, Construction, Forklift or an associated sector.
  • You should hold recognised certification such as an apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a closely associated discipline.
  • This is a field-based role, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
