Job summary

Haier Europe is seeking a Field Service Engineer to visit customers in their homes across Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and surrounding areas, diagnosing and repairing appliance issues to get them running again.

You will manage time, keep customers and colleagues updated on progress, and maintain van stock levels. A full driving licence is required, and City & Guilds training is provided to support excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Experience as a White Goods Engineer preferred but not essential.
• In-house City & Guilds training provided to ready you for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes across Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and surrounding areas to diagnose and repair appliance issues.
• Manage time effectively, keep customers informed of progress and maintain van stock levels.

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be visiting customers in their homes across Scarbourgh, Filey, Bridlington and the surrounding areas, and fixing any appliance issues to get them up and running again. Managing your time through the day, you’ll keep customers and colleagues updated on your progress and keep on top of the stock levels in your van day by day.

A full, valid driving licence is required. For upselling our products you’ll be rewarded with bonus incentives on the products you sell. You’ll be organised, have strong communication skills, and be dedicated to finding the best outcome for the customer.

Ideally, we’d like experience as a White Goods Engineer. But what we really need is self-motivation and strong technical and customer service skills. Our City and Guilds-assured in-house training and support has been designed to get you ready to deliver brilliant service to our customers.

• £35,124 per annum starting salary if you’re a Field Service Engineer who does not have White Goods/ Domestic Appliance experience. You’ll have the opportunity to earn £39,807 once you’re fully trained and meet the minimum requirements
• £39,807 per annum starting salary if you have a minimum of 6 months recent White Goods Engineering experience
• Bonus potential of up to £2,500 per annum

The ability to lift & manoeuvre heavy objects, work in restricted spaces, regularly engage hand dexterity and colour vision are considered central requirements.
