Qualifications

Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will embark on a dynamic journey in the world of material handling, working with a diverse range of products—from agile pallet trucks to robust counterbalance machines, and cutting-edge very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks to innovative automated solutions.

In addition, our Field Service Engineer package includes:

  • Paid travel from door to door
  • Customer sites close to home with an average travel time of 30 minutes

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and servicing Linde forklifts and other equipment at customer locations. You will build strong customer relationships and work both independently and as part of a team.

Ideal candidates will have experience as vehicle technicians, mechanical engineers, forklift technicians, plant fitters, or similar roles. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, or industrial cleaners is desirable but not essential.

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification preferred but not essential
  • Comfortable with IT and record-keeping systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
