Overview

Now Hiring: Field Service Engineer - Recovery Vehicles. Location: UK-Wide (Company Van Provided). Salary: Up to £20 per hour + Overtime. Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (No weekends unless agreed as OT).

Role Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in carrying out warranty and service repairs on recovery vehicles. This includes working on-site at customer premises across the UK, as well as providing vital support to the internal Service Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer locations nationwide to perform warranty repairs and diagnostics.
  • Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing to high standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex faults across multi-system recovery vehicles.
  • Deliver first-class customer service and technical support both in the field and on-site.
  • Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the Service Manager.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician (or demonstrable experience).
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical systems.
  • Proven background working on HGVs or similar heavy vehicles.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime when required.
  • Class 1 licence desirable but not essential.
