Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service a wide range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across customer sites in the Goole area. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance and ensure high standards of safety and reliability.

The role requires experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical/field engineer, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work autonomously or with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician or vehicle technician
• Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is desirable
• Willingness to work in Goole area and travel to customer sites

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, working with our full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance trucks, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and rectifying faults, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.

We use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence (Field and Resident Engineers only).

As a Linde engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
