Job summary

Jungheinrich UK Limited in the Telford area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our customer service team. You will service, repair and preventatively maintain a wide range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment and forklift trucks at client sites.

The role requires a mechanical and electrical bias with hands-on experience in maintenance or service, plus a full driving license and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a mechanical and electrical bias with maintenance/service background.
• Experience in automotive, forklift or mobile plant settings is desirable.
• A full driving licence is essential for field visits.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to service, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Jungheinrich equipment.
• Carry out service reports and keep timesheets up to date.
• Manage parts stock and ensure timely replenishment.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our customer service engineering team to cover the Telford area.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will visit various client sites in the area in order to carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range ofJungheinrichmaterial handling equipment and forklift trucks. You will be responsible for the management and control of the parts stock and completing service reports and timesheets.

Person Specification

This position will be suitable for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers. Given the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will hold a full driving license and have previous experience in a customer-facing environment. Additionally, having previously worked unsupervised would be a benefit.
