Field Service Engineer - Generators and Compressors - Leicester and Coventry area

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, 42 hours per week plus overtime

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong mechanical background in diesel engines, fault diagnosis, and repair? We want to hear from you!

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of generators (20 - 1400 kva) across multiple sites, with some machines fitted with telematics and fully syncable using Comap or Depp sea panels.

Responsibilities:

1. Travel to customer sites for planned service, maintenance, and repair of compressors and generators (20 - 1400 kva)
2. Fault-finding, replacing parts, repairing, and diagnosing mechanical failures
3. Coordinate with external departments and customers
4. Service, fault find, and perform breakdown repairs
5. Comply with company Health and Safety policies

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• Good knowledge of diesel engines
• Experience in fault-finding, repairs, and mechanical diagnosis
• Experience maintaining similar equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, flexible hours due to overtime
