Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Field based)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 p.a. (Depending on experience) + Company Van + Benefits

We are currently working with a highly respected manufacturer and supplier of forklift truck attachments, who are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent, field-based role covering client sites across the UK

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on a wide range of forklift truck attachments at customer sites.
  • Responding to breakdowns and performing reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • Providing excellent on-site customer support and building strong client relationships.
  • Completing all job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience / Skills Required
  • Previous engineering experience working on materials handling equipment, plant machinery, hydraulic systems, or similar equipment.
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexible to stay away from home when required. This can be on average 1 day per week.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
