  • Perform technical service activities to assigned products.
  • Maintain stock of spares as indicated by the Service Manager.
  • Travel flexibly to various site locations within the UK and Ireland.

Job description
Your challenges
  • Consistently and accurately perform technical service activities to the product group to which you are assigned and are supplied by Eppendorf.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer site and in house.
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
  • Maintain direct communication with the customer for the duration of the job.
  • Maintain up to date, extensive knowledge of the development of assigned Eppendorf products with training tools provided.
  • Manage stock of spares at the levels as indicated by the Service Manger
  • You are flexible to travel to multiple site locations within the UK and Ireland which at times may involve overnight stays, sometimes at short notice.
Your expertise
  • A strong technical background and education
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of repair and maintenance of laboratory, medical and/or hospital equipment
  • Profound MS Office skills
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Effective communication skills, professional attitude towards putting the customer first.
  • Be located within the central belt of the UK; Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield areas.
