We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Service Engineer for our Onboard Weighing Division, based in Doncaster and Gainsborough area. Given the nature of the work there will also be elements of working from home depending on the schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Fit and install our weighing systems when workload dictates it
  • Provide customer service and technical help over the phone
  • Provide advice and training on the use of our weighing equipment
  • Provide technical support by telephone, e-mail or on site with customers
  • To attend and participate in Engineers meetings
  • Producing reports and other documents as deemed necessary
  • Attend and cover any callouts placed by customers to repair their systems
  • Cover other Engineers' areas to support with cover during absence as needed

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:

  • UK driving licence
  • Experience in vehicle mechanics
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience and knowledge of how vehicle weighing systems operate
  • High levels of communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to solve problems and use initiative
  • Happy to work autonomously
  • Engineering background is advantageous, but not essential
