Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites in the Glasgow to Edinburgh area (Central Belt, Scotland).

You will fault find, diagnose issues, perform planned maintenance and conduct repairs with the autonomy to manage your own workload, supported by a strong technical back-office team and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery.
• Hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Must have a recognised engineering qualification and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance on site.
• Carry out breakdown repairs and maintenance across customer sites.
• Organise own workload and diary with support from back-office team.

Job Title - Field Service Engineer

Location - Covering Glasgow to Edinburgh (Central Belt - Scotland)

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (Overtime Available)

Shift:Monday to Friday - 40 Hours

Job Role:

I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
