Field Service Engineer

£45-47k

Orion is partnered with a well-established business who's hub is based in Lincoln, which is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer,covering sites across the UK.

Field Service Engineer Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of heavy machinery and equipment such as Packers, shredders, mixers, pumps, loaders, conveyors, and compactors.

• Electrical and mechanical experience

• Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns

• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability

• Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment

• Travel to all sites

Field Service Engineer Experience:

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in a similar industry

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment

• Knowledge of heavy machinery and their maintenance requirements

• Strong technical electrical and mechanical skills

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

• Effective problem-solving skills

• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
