Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair heavy machinery across the North West. This hands-on role involves working at customer sites and managing your own workload.

You'll tackle mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and provide practical technical support to keep machines productive. Independent work is balanced with backing from a capable parts and engineering team.

If you can fix heavy machinery in a field, forest or construction site, we want to hear from you.

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support a range of specialist heavy machinery and equipment across the North West.

This is a proper hands-on engineering role.

You’ll be out at customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing and repairs and keeping technically advanced machinery doing what it was built to do.

You’ll work largely independently, with the backing of an experienced technical and parts team when you need it.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

The exact machinery you’ve worked on isn’t critical.

We’d particularly like to hear from engineers with experience of: Agricultural machinery Tractors and farm equipment Forestry machinery Excavators and construction plant Heavy mobile equipment Hydraulic machinery You’ll need to be comfortable fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and, importantly, be the sort of engineer who enjoys working things out rather than simply swapping parts.
