Legal Counsel - Financial Regulatory

Location: East Midlands / Flexible hybrid

Contract: 3 - 6 month

Our client are currently hiring for a Senior Legal Counsel to support on financial regulatory compliance and provide strategic legal guidance. This role involves advising on financial regulations, managing risk, and working with cross-functional teams to align legal and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on financial regulations and governance
• Draft, review and negotiate varied legal contracts
• Ensure compliance with FCA and other financial regulations
• Collaborate with teams to develop legal strategies
• Advise senior management and mentor junior staff

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified solicitor with strong experience in financial regulation
• Knowledge of FCA rules and regulatory compliance
• Experience in legal advisory, preferably in finance or tech
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• In-house experience at a tech company would be desirable
• Understanding of emerging tech and financial regulations
