Job Description: Field Service Engineer at Linde Material Handling

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Teesside area (postcode TS). The ideal candidate will have experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, or similar roles, with familiarity in working with plant equipment, powered access machinery, agricultural machinery, or industrial cleaners. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites, working with a range of trucks from small pallet trucks to automated vehicles.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
• IT literacy for record-keeping and ordering
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills, team player, pride in work, attention to detail, positive attitude, and flexibility
