About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a rapidly expanding, innovative organization based in Bedfordshire to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing, and progressing within the Compact Plant industry.

Attend breakdowns, service, and PPMs on various industrial-scale compactor systems within the waste management industryUse manual hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (slings, hoists), and hot working tools (blowtorch, heat guns)Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systemsManage time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely mannerUpdate job reports and order parts when necessaryEnsure health & safety procedures are followedRequirements:
Experience in electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and servicePrevious experience with MIG/TIG welding is advantageous but not essentialGood level of electrical or mechanical knowledge; similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineerExperience using electrical and mechanical toolsPrevious experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer, with knowledge of hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair, and basic electrical workFull UK driver's licenseThank you for your time, and we hope to speak with you soon.
