Overview

Service Engineer - Rotating Equipment. Location: South East (Field Based). Salary: Up to £48,000 + optional overtime. Overtime: Weekdays at 1.5x | Sundays at 2x. No on-call rota; overtime is optional.



Key Responsibilities


  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, compressors)

  • Carry out routine maintenance, fault finding, and emergency breakdown support

  • Install and commission new equipment at client sites

  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation

  • Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Adhere to health & safety standards and company procedures

  • Travel across the Midlands region (company vehicle provided)



Qualifications


  • Proven experience working with rotating equipment in industrial or engineering settings

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
