We're working with one of the world's leading providers of advanced semiconductor equipment as they continue to grow their Field Service team. Renowned for expertise in etch and deposition technologies, they pride themselves on their high-level of customer service and reputation for delivering innovative, proven and cost-effective products and services.

As their Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical part in ensuring the optimal performance of the company's equipment, supporting customers in achieving their technical and operational objectives.

What will you be doing:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on advanced MEMS and semiconductor equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime for customer operations.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers to ensure effective operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Maintain detailed service records, including logs of maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and sales, to address customer needs and improve service offerings.
  • Travel to customer sites as required, including international travel.

To thrive in this role, you will have

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or service role with an in-depth understanding of Applied Materials semiconductor equipment.
  • Strong appreciation of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; experience with vacuum systems is a plus.
  • A customer-focused mindset with confidence to engaging directly with technical and non-technical specialists.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying schedules and locations.
