Field Service Engineer

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 + Overtime (Time and a half Monday to Saturday, Double time on Sundays & Bank Holidays)

OTE: £45,000 - £50,000

Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Laptop, Phone & Industry-Leading Tooling Provided

33 Days Annual Leave (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment at client sites. You will work closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction and provide technical support as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform installations and repairs on equipment.
  2. Provide technical support and training to customers.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance checks.
  4. Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
  5. Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  5. Valid driver’s license.
