Field Service Engineer

About This Role

As aField Service EngineeratDawsongroup, youll be on the move, servicing and repairing our growing fleet of forklifts at customer sites across the UK. Youll be hands-on, solving problems, and keeping businesses running smoothly.

  • Completing routine maintenance, diagnosingfaults, carrying out repairs as necessary
  • Working on a range of Material Handling Equipment ranging from electric to IC engines, brake systems, hydraulics and electrics.
  • Ensuringall work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Providingexcellent service to our long-standing customer base.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry training (fully funded).

About You

Youre a skilled engineer or mechanic who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and delivering great service. You take pride in your work and understand the importance of keeping equipment in top condition.

  • Experience in a similar role car and vans to forklift, agricultural, or construction equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills hands-on and practical.
  • Excellent communication clear, professional, and customer-focused.
  • Highly organised able to prioritise and manage workloads efficiently.
  • A clean driving licence highly desirable for this field-based role.
