Overview
Field Service Engineer required in the BA/SN/SP region, covering the South of the UK.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, annual servicing, routine maintenance, and repairs on automated storage systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults independently.
- Support system upgrades, including software updates.
- Assist with the commissioning and installation of new systems at client sites.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
- Provide technical support and product training to clients.
- Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation promptly.
- Manage travel and schedule efficiently.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of automated storage products and systems.
- Represent our client professionally with a friendly and presentable manner.
- Occasional national and international travel (for training purposes).
Requirements
- Based in and around the BA/SN/SP postcode regions with a UK driving license with minimal points.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical and general engineering, high attention to detail, as well as a background in fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
- Engineering qualifications would be desirable, although not essential.
- Comfortable working independently, utilising interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude to provide an excellent service to customers.

- £36,500 basic salary with access to a bonus scheme
- 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with access to overtime and occasional pre-scheduled weekend work.
