Job description

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, support, maintenance, and repair of CurveBeam AI ConeBeam Weight-Bearing CT machines. This role requires extensive travel (75%-85%) to customer locations to ensure optimal performance of over 200 devices across five different models.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform onsite installation of CurveBeam AI products, including uncrating, transport to the installation room, setup, calibration of X-ray output, and device calibration per established protocols.
2. Diagnose and repair CurveBeam AI devices at customer sites with remote troubleshooting guidance from the Technical Support Team.
3. Coordinate with the Customer Care and Technical Support Team to schedule and conduct annual preventive maintenance for all supported devices.
4. Arrange personal travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, to facilitate scheduled installations, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs.
5. Ensure proper configuration and setup of devices during installations.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with internal processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and professional experience.
2. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and work effectively in a team environment.
3. Proficiency in electrical testing using multimeters.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience replacing motors, switches, and other components.
5. Networking configuration experience a plus.
6. Knowledge of CT or X-ray imaging is a plus.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email systems.
8. Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
