Overview

Role- Field Service Engineer

Salary- Circa £26,000 - £45,000 per annum but OTE is higher with travel

Type- Permanent

Location- Leicestershire

My client manufactures electro-mechanical equipment and they are looking to take on a Field Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Leicestershire area.

Qualifications
  • NVQ / HNC / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar or have the relevant experience
  • Any previous field service experience working with electro-mechanical equipment would be desirable
  • Good fault finding capabilities
  • Previous experience working with drives, motors and CNCs would be preferred
  • Be self-motivated
  • Good time management capabilities
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be flexible to travel in the UK and overseas as required
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
Responsibilities
  • The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
  • Working as a key member of the engineering service team
  • Providing onsite maintenance and technical support
  • Carrying out in house machine builds too
  • Providing training of equipment on customer sites
  • Travelling to a range of sites when required
  • Communicating effectively with customers
  • Be able to problem solve as required
  • Conform to Health & Safety regulations at all time
