Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and related materials handling equipment across Worcester and the West Midlands. You will diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns with autonomy over your workload.

The role offers a 40-hour or 45-hour week, with a salary of £32,000-£38,000 or £36,000-£42,500 depending on hours, plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs.
• Disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification and Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics on forklifts and MHE.
• Maintenance and breakdown repairs across customer sites.
• Plan and manage own workload and diary with back-office support.
• Stay updated through manufacturer training and development.

Salary:£32,000 - £38,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift:Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
