Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE at customer sites around Chesterfield. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and carry out breakdown repairs with autonomy over your diary.

Applicants should have hands-on servicing experience, an engineering qualification and a full UK driving licence. Company training and a pension scheme are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or maintaining forklift trucks, mobile plant, or similar machinery.
• Hands-on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Recognised engineering qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance of field equipment.
• Repairs and servicing at customer sites across the local area.
• Organise workload and diary with support from back-office team.

Job Title - Field Service Engineer

Location - Covering Chesterfield and Surrounding areas. (S40 and S41 Postcodes)

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

Sector - Field Service Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience
• Requirements of Field Service Engineer: Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics
• Recognised Engineering Qualification
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering
