FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - COVERING NORTHERN ENGLAND

Are you an experienced customer-facing field engineer? Do you demonstrate excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills? If that describes you then we have a place for you at MasterMover.

MasterMover is the world's leading manufacturer of electric tugs. Our innovative handling solutions can move wheeled and semi-wheeled loads ranging in size from 50kg up to 360,000kg. Our electric tugs and tows are the product of choice for market leading organisations and worldwide brands in the aerospace, automotive and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in retail, health care and other sectors of the economy.

We have an immediate requirement for a Field Service Engineer to join the Service team, you will be required to travel in the North of England (vehicle will be provided).

You will be attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintain existing devices, commission new devices and train operators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing hydraulic, electrical and battery powered machinery
  • Providing training to the customers on the full use of the machinery
  • Creating professional relationships with customers to achieve customer loyalty
  • Working closely with the Service Support team in managing workload effectively and reporting accurate and timely activities
  • Using system tools to maintain organise and prioritise work schedules.
  • Managing administrative tasks and completing paperwork accurately where required

Is this you?

  • Demonstrable experience in service/mechanical maintenance
  • Have solid knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance and repair of machinery
  • A hard-working individual with a positive can-do attitude towards their work
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
