Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the Chesterfield area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.

You will work with pallet trucks, IC/ electric forklifts, and will be responsible for preventative maintenance, reporting faults, and providing excellent customer service. A full UK driving licence and IT literacy are essential, with van and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems.
• IT literacy and ability to use technology to keep records and place orders.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Undertake preventative maintenance on customer sites.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service.
• Support on-call duties as required.

The geographical patch to be covered is the S40 and S41 postcode area.We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role.
