£39,000 - £44,000 (OTE £50,000+) - paid door to door

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 08.00-17:00 (Overnight stays in the southwest of UK, Greater Bristol) / Friday travelling back to home depot (half day). Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x

The Client

Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established, growing Material Handling firm to find an experienced Mobile forklift repair engineer. Our client provides handling and access solutions across the UK, with sites nationwide.

The Package

• 24 days annual leave + public holidays (total 32 days)
• Door to Door Paid
• Full training in electrical & mechanical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics
• Overtime at 1.5X, always available

The Duties

• Diagnose faults, service, and repair plant and forklift machinery, including emergency repairs
• Collaborate with customers on handling and lifting operations
• Work independently on-site and coordinate with colleagues to ensure quality documentation and solutions
• Travel overnight in the South West UK (Monday-Thursday), with a half day on Friday
• Perform repairs on engines, batteries, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems

The Requirements

• Experience in the forklift industry (essential)
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
• Experience with engines and batteries (essential)
• Fault finding, repair, and servicing skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Driving Licence
