Job description

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. Youll be responsible for on-site service, maintenance, and technical support of equipment, representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise. This is a field-based role requiring flexibility to travel across the UK with overnight stays.

Package

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am 4:30pm
• Base salary: Starting salary of £45,000
• Overtime pay: Weekdays: 1.5x / Weekends: 2x
• Company car scheme
• Expenses: Fully covered

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain packaging machinery at customer sites
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related faults, ensuring minimal downtime
• Perform routine servicing and emergency repairs on all equipment and machinery
• Deliver technical training and hands-on support to customer operators
• Complete and submit detailed service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately and on time
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a field service engineering role
• Willingness to travel and stay in hotels (expenses fully covered)
• Full UK driving licence
