Job summary

Pioneer Selection are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain Forklift Trucks and other MHE across customer sites in the Bristol area.

The role covers a local patch with days Monday to Friday; you will diagnose, repair and service FLT/MHE equipment, planning your day with support from a strong technical team and ongoing manufacturer training. A valid UK driving licence is essential, and the package includes a company van, fuel card, regular overtime and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with FLT/MHE or industrial vehicle experience.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and servicing of FLT and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Plan your day locally with support from a technical team and ongoing manufacturer training.
• Cover a local patch, building a reliable service history for equipment.

Field Service Engineer - FLT and MHE

Location: Covering BS11 Postcodes (Avonmouth)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

I am currently partnering with a market leading materials handling business that are currently looking to recruit an experienced field service engineer to service and maintain Forklift Trucks and other MHE equipment across customer sites.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll cover your local patch carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of FLT and material handling equipment. You'll have the freedom to plan your own day while enjoying the backing of a strong technical team and ongoing manufacturer training.

Key Requirements of the Field Service Engineer:

• Strong Engineering background - ideally with FLT/Mobile Plant/HGV or industrial Vehicle experience.
• Engineering skills within Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics are required.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous field service engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
