Job summary

Arjo in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service our medical equipment on site across Ayrshire/Glasgow. You will receive full training and support, have access to a company van, tools, uniform, iPad and smartphone, and join a global leader in medical devices.

The role involves on-site servicing of beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists, with a focus on safety, deadlines and customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar field role.
  • Understanding of electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good time management.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety principles.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to work with an iPad.

Responsibilities

  • Service medical equipment on site across customer sites, including beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists.
  • Support customers with maintenance and on-site product servicing.
  • Attend training and upskill in Arjo product lines.

Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Field based - West of Scotland - Ayrshire/Glasgow

Job type: Permanent, Backshift, Full Time - Monday to Thursday 1430-2300 Friday 1430-2200

This exciting opportunity comes with full training and support, allowing you to support our customers with the servicing of our medical equipment on site, including beds, mattresses, couches, baths, trolleys and hoists.

The skills you will need
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the following skills:
    • Have an understanding of electrical or mechanical engineering
    • Good communication skills
    • The ability to work to deadlines
    • Good time management
    • A knowledge of the principles of Health and Safety
    • Basic IT skills and the ability to work with an iPad
