Field Service Engineer - Materials Handling Equipment

Up to £35,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Van

The Offer
  • Salary up to £35,000 per year
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Regular overtime at time and a half
  • Yearly company bonus

The Role

You'll be out in the field, covering the West Yorkshire area, carrying out servicing, repairs, and breakdown support on a range of diesel, LPG, and electric forklift trucks and other MHE. Most of the time you'll be working solo, from home base, with full product training provided.

  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on forklifts and MHE
  • Keep on top of job sheets and documentation to company standard
  • Work with the parts team to keep your van properly stocked
What We're Looking For
  • Solid mechanical skills - good with hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Previous mechanical, assembly, or service engineering experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own set of hand tools (specialist tools supplied)
  • Reliable, organised, and customer-focused with good communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
