Due to continued business growth, Hitachi Energy are hiring a Field Service Coordinator for our High Voltage Service Business Unit in Stone, Staffordshire. Do you have experience within a service organisation, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail? You will manage all aspects of our service order process within this key role which requires you to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. You’ll be managing customer satisfaction to ensure Hitachi Energy fulfils it's contractual obligations and business requirements. Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers. Manage customer requirements and customer enquiries. Ensuring continuous communication.
Coordinates, plan, schedule and oversee all Service jobs with the necessary resources, spare parts and logistics for site.
Manage customer satisfaction by ensuring that Hitachi Energy fulfils its contractual obligations and business requirements.
Ensure the required quality is delivered and the health, safety and environmental issues are competently managed.
Review the scope of the work and ensures that all parties fulfil their contractual obligations, particularly in regard to claims and changes.
Manage the Service order process in a timely manner from order handover to invoicing and cash collection.
Manage all required reporting and documentation. Ensures all necessary data has been registered in a timely manner in the system.
Cooperate and coordinate activities with other Hitachi Energy business units and teams to harmonize Service activities and to maximize Service sales at every opportunity.
Ensure the transfer of Service findings to the product/system Local Business Units for improvement of their offerings.
Background:
Experience working in a Service organisation.
Experience of interacting with Field (non-office) personnel
Be organised, structured and pro-active approach to managing complex situations.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be willing/able to travel throughout UK & Ireland to conduct site visits, safety tours and build on-site product knowledge
