Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Security Service Engineer to cover London and the M25. You will service and maintain intruder alarm systems and related security tech, ensuring reliable operation for residential and commercial properties.

The role offers a basic salary of £35,000–£47,500 with a 10% bonus, company van, fuel card, and extensive training. Weekend standby payments apply with overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing intruder alarm systems.
• Good understanding of CCTV, access control and door entry systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work at height.
• Customer-focused and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on intruder alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues across electronic security systems.
• Work with CCTV, access control, door entry and fire alarm systems with training provided.
• Respond to service calls and investigate alarm activations.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and maintain records.
