Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Sales Team Leader in the Brighton area to lead a face-to-face ambassador team. You will coach, motivate and equip your team to win new business and reach sales targets while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll be out in venues most days, leading by example, sharing Octopus’s latest tariffs and products, and fostering trust-based leadership. Weekend/evening shifts are required, with a base salary plus uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face sales roles, ideally customer-focused.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Leadership style that inspires, supports and lifts others.
• Ability to give constructive feedback to build confidence.
• Self-starter with ownership and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by supporting your team to win new business and hit targets.
• Coach regularly with 1:1s, set clear goals, deliver actionable feedback.
• Ensure positive customer interactions and use feedback to improve.
• Lead a field-based team, working in venues with the group most days.
• Help your team promote Octopus tariffs, tech, and products confidently.
